The studio behind the fans

Kindle Point is a brand strategy studio built on one belief: brands earn fans when everyone knows what they stand for. We help challenger startups, mid-market companies, sports and entertainment brands, and cause-driven organizations turn that belief into a mission their whole team can run on — and a brand people root for.

Founder & Principal
Kevin Gilsdorf

Kindle Point is led by Kevin Gilsdorf, who has spent three decades building brands across pro sports, national consumer names, public-health behavior change, and B2B. That range matters less than what it taught him: how to tell a fad from a fundamental — which is exactly what keeps a brand feeling real instead of chasing whatever's trending this quarter.

Kevin leads every engagement personally. You get the senior brand mind in the room, doing the thinking — not a pitch team that disappears after the sale.

The Bench

Senior specialists, per project

Kindle Point isn't a solo act, and it isn't a big agency with junior hand-offs. It's a studio: Kevin leads, and we bring in hand-picked senior collaborators — strategy, media planning, video, photography — matched to what each project actually needs. Senior-led, expert-executed.

How we use AI

We're optimistic about AI and clear-eyed about it. It's genuinely useful for scale and for reading audience behavior across channels — and it's no substitute for judgment, taste, or real craft. Our 4D approach (Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence) lets us move faster without letting the brand go generic. Kindle Point leads on strategy and design; AI makes us faster, not louder.

Experience

The range behind the studio.

Over three decades, Kevin has shaped brands for Kraft Heinz, Braun, McCormick, Celestial Seasonings, and the CDC — across enterprise, agency, and in-house roles. That breadth is the point: Kindle Point can see a brand problem from every side because Kevin has sat on every side of it. This is the track record behind the studio, distinct from Kindle Point's own client projects.

Enterprise scale | Kraft Heinz.

As Group Lead, Visual Design (2022–2026), Kevin led the company's first enterprise AI product identity (KHAI) and the Delish design system — driving adoption across 20+ digital products and building the brand standards, enablement, and dashboards behind multimillion-dollar decisions. A founding member of the UX team as it grew from 4 to 20+.

Agency & brand leadership | UX 4Sight, Blue Chip Marketing, Frankel & Company, Publicis.

Across senior creative and executive roles, Kevin led brand, UX, and go-to-market work — from Blue Cross of Idaho's design systems to the digital and campaign strategy behind major wins for Blue Bunny, Bomb Pop, McCormick, Celestial Seasonings, Ricola, and Braun (up to 10× benchmark engagement) — plus national brand work for Motorola, Clorox, and Allstate, and the CDC's VERB campaign brand standards: 85% U.S. youth awareness, honored by the David J. Spencer CDC Museum among the best public-health campaigns in CDC history.

Where it started. The ballpark.

Fittingly for a studio built on fandom, Kevin's career began in minor-league baseball. As designer and Creative Director for the Kane County Cougars (1994–1998), he won two Larry MacPhail Awards for sports-marketing excellence and a Best of the Ballparks honor — and designed the Nashville Sounds identity to launch the ownership group's new team.
